Since I'm learning video stuff
I have been doing a lot of vieo production stuff for my Meda Studies degree at The New School and I have been paying more attention to shorts and promos from people. I thought that this one for Geekhouse Bicycles was particularly interesting. It reminds me of the photos that I took of Ella being sculpted a few weeks ago.
Reminds me how badly I need to put together a studio space of my own for creating stuff.

An Autobio and a goodbye
My beloved dog of 14 years, Oscar, was put down yesterday. It has been one of the hardest points in my life thus far. I couldn’t help but use him throughout this film. He was, in so many ways, the beginning and the end of me.

For my Media Concepts class this semester… and ‘encounter’ film… based on true stories and real life experiences. Feel the tension, feel the love.
I also learned that if you have a vision (especially a visual one) then you’ve gotta be strong enough to shoot it yourself or speak up.

What a weekend! Good weather friday, good waves on Saturday. Wifey and Ella came back on Sat as did our friend Janet. Spent a good ight with lots of food and good wine. sunny Easter Sunday meant good food 9again) and a little skate session with Brent and others at Scalzi. Feeling some blessings this hour.
I have three new paintings that I need to shoot and put on here too. I’m loving my new doodlepads… Thanks Jerry’s!!!
